The Virginia House was bought in a demolition sale. Someone saw the beauty, elegance, and history in a slightly dilapidated, English Tudor manor house and they couldn’t let it be destroyed. Taken down and reassembled across the pond, the house was originally slated to be the west wing of the Virginia Historical Society but plans unfolded differently allowing for the Virginia House to be restored to its original roots on a hilltop overlooking the James River. It was precisely those qualities that saved it which made it the perfect setting for Jessica’s fine art bridal portraits styled by Maggie Richard and photographed by Alex Tenser. Jessica looked truly stunning in her Ava Laurenne gown with a bouquet to match the grandeur and drama of the space.
