Generally Meaning ‘Olive Tree’ , and symbolic of peace, friendship, and resilience
Curating unique and memorable floral design for weddings through a fun and effortless client experience
The idea behind our new name, "Olivera" came to be on a trip to Mallorca, Spain for a floral design workshop. While foraging from olive trees and learning alongside amazingly talented designers, we were able to take a deeper look into the future of our business - our goals, priorities, and dreams. We knew we had more in us. We knew we were ready for the next step. So here we are, a newer, better version of ourselves.
Kristen loves nature, numbers, design, and problem solving, and how this floral gig combines each of those in a unique way. She geeks out over weekly meal plans, a good jumpsuit, outdoor adventures, and early morning exercise classes. She requires regular solar charging, always has spindrift in the fridge, and is 5 minutes early to everything. To unwind after flower-filled days, Kristen can be found cooking, binge watching Shark Tank, or front porch sitting with her better half. Home life consists of wrangling her two kiddos, Lawson and Grace, with her husband Scott in Richmond’s Northside. They are also the proud parents of studio manager, Bagley.

Sarah loves cheese, road trips, and a good dance party. She geeks out over perfectly organized rentals, to do lists, finding cheap flights, guessing the Uhaul mileage correctly, and all things HP/Marvel/LOTR. When she’s not peddling petals, you will find her with her people and a bottle of bubbles. Her favorite flower is a ranunculus, she prefers to travel by train, and snacks are always required. Her real life consists of a partnership with the tallest and handsomest of gingers, Zach, with their five pups, three chickens, and a beta named Neville.

In addition to keeping a keen eye on the humans, Neo specializes in napping, being handsome, and collecting wrinkles. He enjoys few things more than cold floors, warm sunshine, car rides, and bottomless snacks.
Bagley spends her days amongst the blooms, making sure the humans take frequent breaks to play fetch. She enjoys collecting rocks, sipping water from gold compotes, sleeping in the middle of the action, and sneaking into the flower cooler on hot days.
